Forming healthy new habits has been a topic of many conversations over the last few years. New York Times columnist Tara Parker-Pope writes, “We’re all creatures of habit. We tend to wake up at the same time each day, brush our teeth, have morning coffee and commute to work, following the same patterns every day. For many of us, the radical shifts triggered by the pandemic offer opportunities to assess our lives and goals. For others, the challenges of shifts in health and roles in our personal lives have prompted necessary reflection.” Join our esteemed friend and colleague, Mary Denton, for an interactive conversation about forming healthy habits, pathways to success, and struggles as we move toward new health habits.

Mary Denton, a retired CEO of Side by Side in San Anselmo, is a longstanding member of Dialogue and an active voice for equity and inclusion. Mary joined Side by Side (formerly Sunny Hills Services) in 2000. Side by Side is nonprofit offering youth and their families behavioral and mental health supports. Before that, she had more than 19 years of experience in banking, including serving as a vice president of Bank of America. Mary led the rebranding of Side by Side in 2018, expanded the service to more than 2,000 clients a year, and grew the agency’s revenue from approximately $6 million to $10 million.
