Biography
In 2020, after witnessing the heartbreaking video of George Floyd’s murder, Carol Jacobsen felt an urgent call to action. Drawing on her 50 years as a painter, she embarked on a powerful artistic journey—creating 100 portraits of Black women whose achievements, resilience, and contributions have too often been left out of history books.
